Biography

Marcel (Marce) Hoffman is Horse Operations Manager and Head Wrangler for the 320 Guest Ranch, an extraordinary and historic property located along the Gallatin River near Big Sky, Montana .

In these positions, Mr. Hoffman is responsible for the care and general health of the ranch's herd of 70 + horses, as well as the repair and maintenance of 320's vehicles, heavy and other equipment. He also oversees a team of wranglers who deliver guest services, such as horseback riding, rider safety demonstrations, riding lessons, hayrides, sleigh rides, and more.

Additionally, Mr. Hoffman is responsible for the ranch's pasture management, including four pastures at the ranch and a large winter pasture of 1700 acres, located off the immediate property. Marce also serves as the National Forest Service contact, since the Gallatin National Forest surrounds 320 Guest Ranch on four sides.

Originally from Minnesota , Hoffman began his career literally on horseback as a Cowboy at the Climbing Arrow Ranch, a 2000-head commercial beef operation located in Three Forks, Montana . Following this, he was employed at Buffalo Horn Outfitters, located in Gallatin Gateway, Montana , where he led guests on outdoor sporting and big-game excursions. He continued these two positions seasonally until joining 320 Guest Ranch as Horse Operations Manager. Mr. Hoffman attended Willmar Technical School , located Willmar , Minnesota .
